\u201cCriteria for Safety Practices with the Construction, Demolition, Modification and Maintenance of Communications Structures.\u201d ANSI 10.48 is telecom\u2019s first extensive standard including the complete tower process from construction to maintenance.<\/p>\n
Course Description<\/b><\/h4>\n
Competent Rigger students shall obtain a complete understanding and full knowledge base of how to prepare a complete rigging plan and execute the work described in the rigging plan. Prior knowledge upon the start of this training program should include but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\n
First Aid\/CPR\/AED Certification<\/li>\n
Authorized-Climber\/Rescuer certification<\/li>\n
Basic knowledge of equipment training \u2013 winch, capstan, crane, rigging, Gin Pole as applicable<\/li>\n
36 month prior working experience, general climbing knowledge and construction installation<\/li>\n
Read and understand construction drawings and rigging plans<\/li>\n
Ability to write rigging plans<\/li>\n
Intro to RF training<\/li>\n
Knowledge for temporary supports including guy cables, anchorages, structural member supports<\/li>\n
Understanding of functioning and nonfunctioning parts of a rigging plan<\/li>\n
Knowledge of construction processes and the effects it has on the structure<\/li>\n
Equipment logs and Inspection<\/li>\n
Vector Forces<\/li>\n
