Course Objective:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
The goal of the authorized climber\/rescuer course is to be able to get a first look at the basics of climbing and rescuing. The authorized course allows the climber to be able to do basic climbing and rescuing and get a fundamental understanding of the tools required to climb and rescue. The authorized climber will still need a competent climber\/rescuer to advise what anchorages are acceptable in the field. This class is for students that do not climb every day, will always have a competent climber\/rescuer on site, or a certified rigging plan of all anchorage points previously established by a licensed structural engineer.<\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
Note: The Authorized Climber\/Rescuer course is good for two years. Every two years the 8 hour Authorized climber\/rescuer course will need to be taken again for re-certification.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
