Course Price: $750.00
Course Objective:
The goal of the authorized climber/rescuer course is to be able to get a first look at the basics of climbing and rescuing. The authorized course allows the climber to be able to do basic climbing and rescuing and get a fundamental understanding of the tools required to climb and rescue. The authorized climber will still need a competent climber/rescuer to advise what anchorages are acceptable in the field. This class is for students that do not climb every day, will always have a competent climber/rescuer on site, or a certified rigging plan of all anchorage points previously established by a licensed structural engineer.
Note: The Authorized Climber/Rescuer course is good for two years. Every two years the 8 hour Authorized climber/rescuer course will need to be taken again for re-certification.
